Prominent Programs at Atilim University

Atilim University offers a variety of academic disciplines and scientific programs distributed across its faculties, vocational schools, and institutes.

First: Vocational Schools at Atilim University, Turkey

There are two vocational schools:

• Vocational School of Health Services: This includes the following programs: Rehabilitation and Therapy, Physical Therapy Program, Medical Services and Techniques, Operating Room Services Program, Anesthesia Program, Emergency and First Aid Program, and Medical Laboratory Techniques Program.
• Vocational School: This school teaches the essential legal courses needed for vocational education, particularly for the Justice Program.

Second: Faculties, Eight in Total, Offering the Following Disciplines

1. Faculty of Medicine: Offers a program in Medicine, with various specializations, lasting 6 years.
2. Faculty of Engineering: Includes departments in Computer Engineering, Information Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials and Metallurgy Engineering, Software Engineering, among others.
3. Faculty of Civil Aviation: Offers programs in Aviation Management, Pilot Training, Aviation Electronics, and Aircraft Structure and Engine Maintenance. The program lasts 4 years.
4. Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture: Includes Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, elective courses, Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, and Textile and Fashion Design.
5. Faculty of Business Administration: Includes programs in Business Administration, Tourism Management, Public Relations and Advertising, Economics, International Trade and Logistics, Political Science and Public Administration, and International Relations.
6. Faculty of Law: Offers a program focused solely on Law.
7. Faculty of Arts and Sciences: Includes programs in English Language and Literature, Translation and Interpretation (Turkish-English), Mathematics, and Psychology.
8. Faculty of Health Sciences: Includes programs in Nutrition and Dietetics, Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, Hearing and Auditory Problems, Child Development, and Nursing.

Third: Graduate Programs

Atilim University also offers graduate programs (Master’s degree) in the following three specialized faculties:

1. Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences: Prominent programs include Applied Physics, Applied Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Materials and Metallurgy Engineering, and Computer Engineering.
2. Faculty of Health Sciences: Notable programs include Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, Nursing, and Kinesiology.
3. Faculty of Social Sciences: Prominent programs include Business Administration, Economics, Public Relations and Advertising, International Relations, English Language and Literature, Political Science, Clinical Psychology, Translation and Interpretation, and International Trade and Logistics

Fourth: Doctoral Programs at Atilim University

Atilim University offers several doctoral programs, including:

• Social Sciences Faculty: Business Administration, Private Law, Political Economy, English Language and Literature, Political Science, and Public Administration.
• Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences: Mathematics, Chemistry, Software Engineering, Architecture, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Engineering Systems Modeling and Design.

Notable Research Centers at Atilim University

Atilim University places significant importance on scientific research and equips its students with the necessary skills through its research centers and advanced programs, such as the Bachelor’s Research Project Organization Program (LAP), which trains creative students in research. This program includes scholarships of up to 1,000 Turkish Lira per student, totaling 15,000 Lira.

Projects are executed in three subcategories: “basic research,” “experimental development,” and “innovative products,” with student participation in exhibitions and presentations of their research projects at the end of each academic year.

One of the university’s key research centers is the Metal Forming Excellence Center (MFCE), established in 2010 with funding from the Turkish Ministry of Development and Atilim University.

This center is among the most advanced in Europe and is the only one in Turkey.

It focuses on supporting Turkey’s metal forming industry, developing manufacturing technologies, producing high-value-added components, creating new and advanced materials, and exploring energy-efficient manufacturing options.
